Plus Size Swimwear – Mix and Match Separates

When I go on vacation I like to travel light but I also want to look good. The ideal option for me when choosing plus size swimwear is taking separates, i.e. mix and match tops and bottoms. This way I can take swim briefs, swim shorts, a swim skirt and a couple of plus size tankini tops, by doing this I have 6 different swimwear looks perfect for a two week vacation. By adding two light cover ups, for example a beach dress and a sarong, I’m ready for the pool bar, the beach snack bar and a wander along the shoreline.

It’s always good to choose 2 color-ways that complement each other, black is a good choice for swim bottoms, you can always then add different colored tankini tops or accessorize with a sarong in another color. Black and white looks great, make it more sophisticated by adding a floppy straw hat and big sunglasses. If you prefer then go wild with women’s size plus tankinis with patterns and bright colors, this will draw attention away from your bottom half.
