Let’s take a break from work and look at some fun Plus Size Halloween Costumes.
I love dressing up to join in the spooky festivities and you may be surprised to learn that there are a whole wealth of costumes available for larger size men and women. Below you will see some examples of women’s size plus costumes. It would appear that fairytale characters are particularly popular this year, such as Red Riding Hood and Snow White, although pirate, nun and vampiress costumes continue to be in great demand.

When choosing a plus size costume, think about the areas of your body that you are happy to show and those that you wish to cover up. It is important that you feel happy and confident in your costume if you are to enjoy yourself. Many plus size costumes have full length sleeves, many women do not like their upper arms on show. To hide your tummy choose a style which has an empire waistline that falls from under the bust. For example many renaissance style costumes have this type of fit.

If you do not like to show your legs, choose longer length costume or instead of wearing stockings or pantyhose, wear thick opaque tights or leggings instead.

Many people do not like to wear a full costume but you can enter into the Halloween spirit by wearing a wig or a pair of horns, wear some fun spooky costume jewellery, or you could just wear a cloak or a set of wings.
