Plus Size For Women
So what exactly does it mean, ‘Plus Size For Women‘? If you were to take a look in any fashion or beauty magazine then you would be led to believe that any woman who wears a size 8 or upwards would be thought to be plus size. Of course this is ridiculous, but it appears that clothing designers are slow to appreciate that the majority of women wear a size 14+, and that, shock horror, even women who wear size 22 and upwards want to wear stylish and trendy clothes.
Thankfully there are some designers who design with the larger woman in mind. You may have seen at the recent Milan Fashion Week that Elena Miro was the only plus size clothes designer to do a full show. Take a look at some of her masculine designs below.
Yes, those models are plus size models (size 14), And of course the looks are perfect for work wear, so take some inspiration from these fabulous plus size suits.
Masculine influence is bang on trend this season, think vests, grandpa cardigans, tailored shirts wide leg pants. Add some attitude with quirky accessories such as ties, corsages, or statement jewelry.
